Please reach us at wvfc2002@yahoo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
In case of a fire, call 911 immediately. If it's a small fire, you can try to put it out with a fire extinguisher. However, if the fire is spreading quickly or you are unable to put it out, evacuate the building immediately and wait for the fire department to arrive.
The most common causes of fires are cooking accidents, heating appliances, electrical malfunction, smoking, and candles.
If you're trapped in a burning building, try to stay as low to the ground as possible to avoid smoke inhalation. If possible, cover your mouth and nose with a damp cloth or clothing. Call Wilson Volunteer Fire Company to let them know where you are, and wait for them to rescue you.
Do Not call the fire station Call Augusta ECC @ 540-245-5561
You can join to become a volunteer firefighter at the age of 16 with parent or guardian consent.
